A central data platform and role-based dashboards for Hendrick de Keyser Monumenten; one trusted foundation for cashflow, financial performance, visitor behaviour, maintenance, letting operations, and renovations. Maximum impact, minimal overhead.
Hendrick de Keyser Monumenten is a Dutch non-profit with a clear mission: preserving historic and monumental buildings for future generations. Across a portfolio of unique heritage properties, the organisation must balance financial sustainability with cultural impact; and that balance demands more than passion. It demands clear insight, reliable data, and minimal operational overhead.
Data was spread across multiple systems and reports, making it difficult to create a consistent and reliable view of the organisation. Leadership wanted to:
The question: how do you bring everything together; without adding complexity?
Technology alone does not create value. Real impact comes from aligning data solutions with how organisations actually operate. Together with Hendrick de Keyser Monumenten, we designed and built a central data platform that acts as a single source of truth; financial, operational, and visitor data consolidated into one trusted foundation, so everyone works with the same numbers, definitions, and insights.
Consolidated finance data turns reporting from a monthly scramble into a continuous, trustworthy view of where money flows in and out of the portfolio.
Visitor numbers and behaviour across the museum houses, finally readable in one place; informing programming, opening hours, and capacity decisions.
Planning and execution surfaced together, so condition, schedule, and spend are visible per property; not buried in separate tools.
Occupancy, contracts, and tenant operations linked to financial outcomes; letting decisions become decisions, not guesses.
Project progress, budget, and impact on the property tracked alongside everything else; preserving heritage with full transparency.
Shared definitions and metrics across departments, so finance, operations, and curatorial teams discuss the same numbers.
Rather than introducing complexity, we focused on one consistent view across departments and domains, turning data into actionable insight, automating reporting to minimise manual effort, and aligning seamlessly with existing processes and systems.
The goal was not "more data"; but clarity, trust, and better decisions.
The data platform and dashboards enable Hendrick de Keyser Monumenten to operate from one single source of truth; and to spend less time producing numbers and more time acting on them.
This project reflects how we work at Alva Minds. We bring decades of experience in organisations, processes, and data. We build trusted data foundations and single sources of truth. We translate complex data into clear, actionable dashboards. And we help organisations do more of what matters; with less overhead.
